Fund 1, launched by Sonic, aims to boost the development of Web3 games, AI agents, and social media tools on HyperGrid. Each project can receive up to $1 million in support with no limit on participants. The fund provides technical assistance, marketing support, and integration with Sonic's TikTok Applayer. Galaxy Interactive sees Sonic as a bridge between Web2 and Web3 gaming. The fund's first investment is in Gomble Games, a protocol backed by Binance Labs and Animoca Brands. Sonic's recent token generation event was successful, reaching a market cap of $365 million in 24 hours. The future of gaming, according to Sonic's CEO, lies in high-performance infrastructure, AI, and social connectivity. Industry experts predict significant growth in AI cryptocurrencies in 2025.
