Ronin Network Launches $10 Million Grants Program for Developers

The Ronin Network, utilizing the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain, has introduced a $10 million grants program aimed at supporting its developer community. The initiative, known as Ronin Ecosystem Grants, was unveiled on Jan. 16 as part of the network's efforts to enhance blockchain capabilities and attract more developers. The grants pool will be divided among developers and waypoints, a crypto-based bridge service. Builder grants offer up to $300,000 in Ronin tokens, while waypoint gas grants provide up to $20,000 in funding. Approved projects will receive milestone-based funding unlocks based on their alignment with long-term goals. The grants cover essential expenses such as development integrations, audits, and deployment. The program aims to foster developer collaboration and expand Ronin into a hub for gaming, consumer DApps, and DeFi protocols. Projects can apply for multiple grant programs, with no set deadline for submissions. Approved projects will gain visibility through Ronin platforms and access collaboration opportunities with various stakeholders.

Ethereum's Pectra Upgrade Set for March 2025
