Barcelona-based Brickken, a real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform, recently closed a $2.5 million seed funding round, boosting its post-money valuation to over $22.5 million. RWA tokenization involves minting financial and tangible assets on a blockchain ledger, enhancing investor access and trading opportunities. The successful funding announcement on Jan. 15 marked a significant milestone for the Europe-based platform. Notable participants in the seed round included Psalion, Ergodic Fund, SNZ Capital, Blue Bay Ventures, Mocha, and Hodl Ventures. Brickken plans to utilize the raised capital for European expansion and to revolutionize asset management through blockchain technology. The platform has witnessed high user demand, tokenizing assets worth over $250 million across 14 countries in less than two years since its launch in March 2023. Brickken is also the official tokenization provider for Binance’s BNB Chain.
